Today I translated the second of Athena Cykes’s “Character Design” page (one of several) from the official Ace Attorney 5 visual book. This is from page 48 specifically.

Ace Attorney 5’s new character. A new member of “Wright* Anything Agency,” and so an important main character –Athena Cykes*. Of course, there are plenty of rough sketches that went into her design. “Sound” was the keyword in making her character, and so in the earlier designs, we made designs with seashells and waves. When we made her silhouette, the hairdo with the ponytail sticking out was carried onto the final design.
*-Japanese names were Naruhodo (Phoenix Wright), and Kizuki Kokone (Athena Cykes).

『逆転裁判５』の新キャラクターであり、“成歩堂なんでも事務所”に所属する重要なメインキャラクターである希月心音。デザインラフも、もちろん数多く残っている。”音“がキーワードであるためが、初期のデザインには、貝殻や波をイメージしたものも。シルエットにしたときに個性が出るサイドアップの髪型は、現在のココネにも引き継がれている。
