Bath’s belief is: “in a one on one fight, the heavy knight is the strongest.” And so, for the sake of verifying this conviction, Bath trains himself day after day relentlessly. That conviction influences his subordinates, giving the Knights of Ostia great psychological support.
On an interesting note, from a support conversation with Astore, Bath shows he is not just a man of brute strength, but also one who can make intelligent inquiries. Also, even though their ways of thinking are different, Bors and Bath share a knight’s oath, and formed bonds that are beyond simply that of comrades.
