042 Igrene

The Archer of the Desert who fights to protect the village she loves.
A sniper of Nabata village. She met Roy’s crew when they came to the village guided by Sofiya, and joined the United Lycian Army afterward. Born into a family of guardians that has protected the desert for generations, she uses her bow to carry out her mission diligently. She lost both her husband and only daughter, and keeps that sadness buried deep in her heart.

While in the United Lycian Army, Igrene has conversations with Sofiya and Fa which show that she still thinks a lot about her deceased daughter. Eventually, she meets Astore who bears a striking resemblance to her late husband, but Astore treats it like it is just an accidental resemblance to another person. As a spy of Ostia, Astor hides his true identity from his loved ones in order to protect them from danger.
The flirting priest Saul knows of the sorrow in Igrene’s heart, and advises her as a priest.

愛する里を守る砂漠の射手
 ナバタの里のスナイパー。ソフィーヤの導きを受けてナバタの里にやってきたロイたちと出会い、リキア同盟軍へ参加する。代々砂漠の安寧を守る護人一族の娘として生まれ、己の使命を果たすべく努めている。夫と一人娘を共に失い、その哀しみを胸のうちに秘めている。

 リキア同盟軍に参加したイグレーヌはソフィーヤとファの世話をしながら、今は亡き一人娘へと思いをはせる。やがて、亡くした夫とうりふたつのアストールと出会うが、アストールは他人のそら似とイグレーヌをあしらう。オスティアの密偵であるアストールは、愛した妻を危険にさらすまいと身分を隠しているのだ。
 女性には必ず声をかけるサウルも、イグレーヌの悲しみを知ってか牧師として説教する。
