The chief of the Dragon Temple who dreamt of a glorious revival
A pure blooded Dragon from the Scouring. He fought the Eight Heroes and was defeated, bearing a grave wound. While he healed for the next thousand years, he sought to restore the glory of Dragons by focusing on the resurrection of the Dark Dragon. He broke the seal on the Dark Dragon Idenn and restored his power, appearing before Roy as an enemy. He does not understand human thinking, and believes that Dragons and Humans can never get along.

As he worked on restoring the Dark Dragon’s power over one thousand years, Jahn felt there was no place for him in a world full of humans.
When Roy and his party had entered the Dragon Temple, it seems he educated them on the matters concerning Dragons and the Scouring as a final wish.
Despite having worked on the restoration of Dragons for so long, it seemed to be an impossible dream.
Jahn could not understand humans to the very end as he was struck down by Roy…
