092 Ninian

The girl who bears a cruel fate and is the key to Dragon’s Gate
A daughter of dragons who came from the Dragon realm to the continent of Elibe. As she was unable to cast aside the memories of a village from before “The Scouring” in Elibe, she accepted Nergal’s invitation to open the Dragon’s Gate. As a result, Nergal pursues her as she is the key to calling the other dragons. She bears the guise of a dancer as she moves from place to place with her younger brother, Nils.

With a melancholic look in her eye wherever she goes, she is a girl with an ephemeral air about her. Though she remains quite reserved after Eliwood saves her, this is how she is from the start as she feels extremely guilty and responsible for having been tricked into beginning a crisis that concerns the world.
Though she boasts the power of being of the Ice Dragon family, Ninian has a young, weak heart. However, she grew stronger thanks to Eliwood’s devoted support, and was finally able to resist her destiny with Eliwood’s unyielding love.
