105 Athos
Defends the world from an ill-fate, with an existence that transcends human understanding
Praised as the “Arcsage,” he was one of the Eight Heroes. With magic that is on the edge of human understanding, he has managed to continuously live in a holy palace within Nabata Desert since the Scouring. He watches over the continent, and guides Eliwood’s group out of fear that he may be unable to stop the impending calamity that the Dark Sorcerer Nergal may impose upon the world.

Long ago, he had learned magic alongside Nergal, and both were friends. However, after discovering the Dragon Village, the two took different paths. Athos chose to use the knowledge of the Dragons for the sake of humans and dragons coexisting, but Nergal desired their incredible power. Athos lent his power to Eliwood’s group, and confronted Nergal directly in the end.
Despite being an Arcsage, he used up all his power fighting the dragons, and fell into an eternal sleep in front of the “Dragon’s Gate.” He was concerned about humanity’s future even in the end.

世界の行く末を見守る、人智を超えた存在
「第賢者」と称えられる、かつての八神将の一人。魔道を極めたがゆえに人の理から外れ、人竜戦役より千年の間、ナバタ砂漠の地価神殿で生き続けていた。常に大陸を見守っており、邪悪な力をつけたネルガルを倒さねばこの世の災いは止められないと考え、エリウッドたちを導く。
