I found a transcript of the lyrics on 2ch written by Japanese users, so here they are in Romaji and translated!

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that your romaji for the line 壊したい、大事そうに抱えた、強がりなんて is incorrect. The last part should be read tsuyogari nante instead of watashi o zenbu.

Wow, that’s surprisingly depressing. Some SMT fans claim that this is more Persona, but Persona’s theme music had more hope to it. This one is just “I want to disappear” and “I want to die”. Persona music is more of moving on than this. Persona 3 had music about moving on from a loved one’s death, and Persona 4 had accepting yourself. Anyways, this was a VERY unexpected fusion. To me, it’s an awesome fusion at that.
It was certainly unexpected. I admit I was hoping for something featuring the characters they described in the initial teaser, but I will wait until I play the game to really say anything about it!
Indeed, the lyrics I guess are more main line SMT than Persona with such hopelessness!
Even weirder is that SMT is more heavy metal. But, I like J-pop so, yeah. Some are considering this to be a spiritual successor to Persona 3 and 4 because of the different direction Persona 5’s taking.
Then again, lyrical dissonance is a personal favorite thing of mine.
I was expecting the same thing as you did, but I think this game will pull a Madoka Magica on us. I.E It starts out all cute and cuddly, then that one thing happens.
Yeah, it seems like there will be some serious dark undertone. So I’ll give it a chance rather than write it off completely. : )
J-pop is fun here and there, enough to bother to translate some anyway. : ) I never played the Persona games, so it’s all from just what I know of them.
