Fire Emblem Fates – Importer’s Source – Character Profiles [ALL] [COMPLETE]

In addition to translating the menus for Fire Emblem Fates importers who do not read Japanese, I’m also aiming to translate the characters as they appear. Please point this out to anybody who may find it useful!

CURRENT AS OF 02/13/16. All character names and descriptions are now here. All portraits that were available have been added too. All recruitment methods are here for Hoshido/Nohr, adding Touma and full profiles. Note they are listed with Japanese names, and will update for English ones later on. Hoshido = Birthright, Nohr = Conquest, and Touma = Revelations.

Note that I already translated all the characters that were revealed on the official website here and here. Their profiles may be very similar.

Thanks to a text dump, here is a full list of characters (in no particular order). Pictures are provided below their description.

Sub Profile: A member of the Nohr Royal Family who was raised in an old, remote castle. Distressed ever since their true heritage became known.

Museum Profile (JP): A Prince[ss] abducted and raised by Nohr. In addition to being able to transform into a Dragon, they are also the sole wielder of the divine weapon “Yatogami.” Has the unique trait of charming those around them. The one who has the greatest concealed power in the army.

Museum Profile (EN): Corrin (M): A prince[ss] raised in Nohr after being abducted from Hoshido as a child. Can change into a dragon and wield the sacred blade, Yato. S/He is well liked by all. Has the most hidden potential.

Epilogue: (Normal M/F): After the war, tales of the “Hero of Salvation” were heard all over the place. However, somehow, no official records were left behind. But it is certain that they had paved their own path to a peaceful world.

Epilogue: (Normal – Touma): After the war, they oversaw the Kingdom of Touma as its Ruler. The bottom of the Infinite Chasm had shut, sealing away Hydra’s corpse in the original Touma country for eternity. Touma, Nohr, and Hoshido formed strong bonds which lead to an era of long lasting peace.

Epilogue: S (Male): Kamui helped in the restoration efforts of both Hoshido and Nohr. Various anecdotes of his story were heard around the world.

Epilogue: S (Female): The wife Kamui was said to have walked her own path with her husbands eternal support.

Epilogue: S (M/F, Touma): After the war, the two spent the rest of their life together. Kamui gave way to the beginning of an era of long lasting peace.

Epilogue: S (Zero Same Sex): Tales were heard of the two of them everywhere. They opened a small orphanage in their last years for unfortunate children and lived a quiet life.

Epilogue: S (Female Same Sex): Kamui helped in the restoration efforts of both Hoshido and Nohr. Various anecdotes of her story were heard around the world. With Shara always by her side…

Epilogue: S (Shara Same Sex): Tales were heard of the two of them everywhere. Shara and Kamui continued to harbor deep love for each other throughout their life.

Epilogue: S (Male Same Sex, Touma): Kamui ruled over Touma, and with the support of his life long partner Zero opened the way to an era of long lasting peace.

Epilogue: S (Zero Same Sex, Touma): The two welcomed an adopted child in their later years. The child was said to be simple and cheerful, and harbored deep sensitivity.

Epilogue: S (Female Same Sex, Touma): Kamui ruled over Touma, and with the support of her life long partner Shara opened the way to an era of long lasting peace.

Museum Profile: A knight of Nohr who serves Kamui. Though born a commoner, he became a royal knight through his skill. He’s strict with others and a no-nonsense person. His stamina is remarkable for his age, considering he is the last one to run out of breath in the army.

She’s a skilled warrior and a hard-worker who puts on a brave face. The most destructive Goddess in the army,

He has absolutely loyalty to Kamui, but is cold and unsociable to anybody else.  Hates mornings the most out of everyone in the army.

Museum Profile (EN): A multitalented Nohrian butler who serves Corrin at home and on the battlefield. While generally cool toward others, he took a vow of absolute loyalty to Corrin. Not a morning person.

Rinka リンカ | Rinkah
Title: Daughter of Flames

Museum Profile (JP): A shinobi of Hoshido. Unlike his older twin brother, Saizou, he has a polite and calm air to him. He strives to choose his own master and is incredibly loyal. He would even go as far as to sacrifice his own life for them. He is the most popular man in the army.

Museum Profile (EN): A Hoshidan ninja. Unlike his twin brother, Saizo, he has a polite and calm demeanor. He is loyal to his chosen liege, willing to give up his very life. Best-liked member of the army.

Sakura サクラ
Title: The Affectionate Priestess

Museum Profile: A Princess raised in Hoshido. When she was young, she was taken away from the land that had kidnapped Kamui, Nohr. Her emotions rarely fluctuate, and she is both compassionate and wise. She uses her singing voice to aid companions on the battlefield. Has the worst cases of bed hair in the army.

Epilogue (Normal): Not a single trace of her remained in official records after the war’s end. Her existence, Her existence was such a mystery that it was a hotly debated topc as to whether she was a real person or just a personification of the events of the time.

Epilogue (S): Aqua left no records other than the fact she became a wife. She lead a mysterious existence to the end.

Museum Profile: A samurai of Hoshido who serves Sakura. She was born into a family that has distant relations with the royal family. She is a tomboy who quarrels easily. She never misses a day of training despite already being one of the best sword wielders in Hoshido. The one who loves cherry blossoms the most in the army.

Tsubaki ツバキ | Subaki
Title: Perfection | Mr. Perfect

Sub Profile: Sakura’s retainer. Part of the Hoshido upper class. He is a perfectionist who is both handsome and clear-headed.

Museum Profile (JP): A Pegasus Warrior of Hoshido. Serves Sakura. From an elite family that has served the royal family for generations, and was raised to be a perfect person. Gentle, handsome, and with great skill as a soldier, he can truly be called “perfect.” The one with the cleanest hands in the army.

Museum Profile (EN): Sakura’s retainer and a Hoshidan sky knight from a long line of talented knights trained to be perfect. Easygoing, handsome, and skilled. Has impeccably clean hands.

Epilogue (N): He was appointed Captain of the Pegasus Unit when Ryouma ascended to the throne. From then on, he fulfilled his duties perfectly and was praised as a commanding officer. On the other hand, he would still poke his nose into his Lady Sakura’s affairs now and then.

Epilogue (S): The husband Tsubaki was appointed Captain of the Pegasus Unit, and was praised as a commanding officer for a long time. He carried out his duties with perfection.

Epilogue (S-Touma): The husband Tsubaki served the royal family with dignity and perfection, and also continued to support his wife like a good partner.

Museum Profile (JP): A fledgling knight of Nohr. He is from a noble family and was best friends with Kamui in childhood. He is both kind and cooperative, as well as an incredibly capable knight for his young age. He has the messiest hair in the army.

Museum Profile (EN):  A newly appointed Nohrian knight of noble birth. Childhood friend of Corrin. He is both very kind and quite skilled for a man of his age. Worst “bedhead” in the army.

Saizou サイゾウ | Saizo
Title: User of Explosive Flames | Angry Ninja
Starting Class: Shinobi
Personal Skill: Explosive Flame (When user triggers the battle at under half HP, the user and enemies within a 2 tile radius have their HP reduced by 20%)
Recruitment: Chapter 8 (Hoshido), Chapter 11 (Touma – Speak with Kamui)

Sub Profile: Ryouma’s subordinate. From a shinobi clan that serves Hoshido. Suzukaze’s older twin brother. Has a blunt personality.

Museum Profile (JP): Ryouma’s subordinate and a shinobi of Hoshido. He is the 5th generation of elite ninjas who bear the name “Saizou”, and is also Suzukaze’s older twin brother. He is usually rough and unfriendly, but is fiercely loyal to Ryouma. The one who hates sweets the most in the army.

Museum Profile (EN):A Hoshidan ninja who serves Ryoma and is the fifth to carry the Saizo name. He has a younger twin brother, Kaze. Curt and taciturn, but unfailingly loyal. Dislikes sweets more than anyone.

Orochi オロチ
Title: Mature Spellcaster
Starting Class: Spellcaster
Personal Skill: Hoshidian Capture (When there is a Prison in My Castle, the user can select the “Capture” command. If a generic enemy is defeated, they will be sent to the Prison)

Sub Profile: Mikoto’s subordinate. From a noble house of Hoshido. With a cheerful and playful personality, she’s the type who laughs a lot.

Museum Profile: A spellcaster of Hoshido. Serves the late Mikoto. Born to a family of spellcasters that serve at the royal castle, she knows her way around the capital very well. She is skilled at fortune telling using cards. Has a cheerful and mischievous personality. She is the easiest to make laugh in the army.

Hinoka ヒノカ
Title: The Red Warrior Princess

Sub-Profile: Princess of Hoshido. With an honest and unsophisticated personality, she is more of a warrior than a princess.

Museum Profile: The oldest daughter of the Hoshido royal family. She fights in defense of her kingdom despite the objections of the people around her. With an honest and frank personality, she is more of a warrior than a princess. She is the most caring member of the army.

Asama アサマ | Azama
Title: Aloof Priest | Calm Philosopher

Personal Skill: Divine Retribution (When user doesn’t have a weapon equipped and they sustain damage from an adjacent enemy, the enemy receives half the same damage.)

Sub Profile: Hinoka’s subordinate. Born at a shrine in Hoshido. He has a gentle and sociable personality with an occasionally sharp tongue.

Museum Profile (JP): A priest of Hoshido. Hinoka’s subordinate. He was born at a small shrine and travels to various spiritual mountains as part of his training to be a priest. He has an aloof personality and a sharp tongue. He has a philosophical view toward many things. He is the one who never cries in the army.

Museum Profile (EN):A Hoshidan monk who serves Hinoka. Born at a small shrine, and made pilgrimages to holy mountains in training. He is aloof, acerbic, and philosophical. Cries less than anyone in the army.

Setsuna セツナ
Title: Absentminded

Personal Skill: Absent-minded (When user is healed by staff, they recover 1.5 times the normal HP)
Recruitment: Chapter 8 (Hoshido) Will join when Hinoka is recruited

Sub Profile: Hinoka’s subordinate. From a noble house of Hoshido. Though she seems cool and quiet, she makes plenty of blunders.

Museum Profile: A bowman of Hoshido. Hinoka’s subordinate. She was raised in a carefree life of nobility and serves at the royal capital – somewhat. Her absent-mindedness gives her nerves of steel. She’s generally happy and oblivious to sarcasm. She has the most flexible body in the army.

Tsukuyomi ツクヨミ | Hayato
Title: Young Spellcaster | The Kid
Starting Class: Spellcaster
Personal Skill: Arrogance (When user’s Level is lower than the enemy’s (promoted units count as Level +20), damage +3)
Recruitment: End of Chapter 8 (Hoshido)

Sub Profile: A member of the Wind Tribe. He has great confidence to the point of being oppressive and is ignorant of the ways of the world.

Museum Profile (JP): A spellcaster of the Wind Tribe. He is an orphan who was raised by the tribe chief Fuuga. Though he tries and acts like an adult to an overbearing extent, he retains child-like weaknesses. He’s sensitive about his height in particular. He is the one who drinks the most milk in the army.

Museum Profile (EN): An orphan from the Wind Tribe raised by their chief, Fuga. He is a magical prodigy, but baby-faced and overcompensates with high- handed speech. Sensitive about his height.

Oboro オボロ
Title: The Demon Faced
Starting Class: Lance Fighter
Personal Skill: Nohr-hater (When engaging a Nohr-related enemy, damage +3)
Recruitment: Chapter 9, Turn 3 (Hoshido) Speak with Kamui, Chapter 11 (Touma)
Birthday: November 28th
Voice Actor: Nozomi Sasaki

Sub Profile: Takumi’s subordinate. The daughter of a dry-goods store owner in Hoshido. She is very fashion conscious, and harbors a deep hatred for the Nohr.

Museum Profile: A Lance Fighter of Hoshido. Serves Takumi. Her family home was a large dry goods store. She occasionally shows a demonic face due to the trauma she suffers from when Nohr killed her parents. She likes fashion, and is well versed in all fashion crazes. She is the fastest at changing clothes in the army.

Epilogue (N): She devoted herself to rebuild Hoshido as her Lord Takumi’s servant. At the same time, she reopened her parents’ dry goods store, and her fashionable clothes became a craze all over the country. She is always working hard making clothes right at the edge of Lord Takumi’s territory.

Epilogue (S): Together with her husband, Oboro’s dream came true when she was able to rebuild the dry goods’ store that had belonged to her late parents.

Death Quote: “I lost…? While wearing these clothes… of all things…ah, well…it’s not too…bad…”

Hinata ヒナタ | Hinata
Title: Unprecedented Samurai | Wild Samurai
Starting Class: Samurai
Personal Skill: Desperate Struggle (When user is under half HP, half the damage received by Swords, Lances or Axes is also dealt to the enemy)

Sub Profile: Takumi’s subordinate. From a family of samurai that serves the royalty. Though a little rough and sketchy, he thinks deeply of his comrades.

Museum Profile (JP): A samurai of Hoshido. Takumi’s subordinate. Born into a family of samurai who have served the royalty for generations. Though he is crude and quarrels easily, he is popular for his honest and frank personality. Oddly enough, he is weak to beautiful women. He is the one who loves open fields the most in the army.

Museum Profile (EN): A Hoshidan samurai from a long line serving the royal family. Like his liege, Takumi, he’s a bit coarse and quick to get into a fight, but he’s honest and optimistic. Likes wide open fields.

Takumi タクミ | Takumi
Title: Wielder of the Divine Bow | Wild Card

Personal Skill: Rivalry (When user is the lead unit and their Level is lower than their support unit’s Level, Critical rate +10, damage +3 and damage received -1)

Museum Profile (JP):: Prince of Hoshido. He wields the legendary weapon named “The Wind God’s Bow.” His mood fluctuates often and he strives to be the center of attention. Though he may seem callous, he has a friendly side, which catches people off-guard. He has the worst dreams out of everyone in the army.

Museum Profile (EN): A Hoshidan prince who wields the legendary Fujin Yumi. An emotional young man who seeks attention. While a bit tempestuous, he’s very kind to people he trusts. Has the worst nightmares.

Kagerou カゲロウ
Title: Old-Fashioned Shinobi

Personal Skill: Ninja Reversal (When user receives damage from a Kunai attack, the enemy receives half the same damage and the Kunai’s stat reduction effect)

Sub Profile: Ryouma’s subordinate. From a family that serves royalty. Her loyalty is so deep that she would not mind dying for her master.

Museum Profile: A kunoichi* of Hoshido. Ryouma’s subordinate. She comes from a family that has served the royalty for generations, acting in place of her sickly older brother. She is diligent, loyal, and always keeps her cool. She has been best friends with Orochi since childhood. The best at keeping an illustrated diary within the army.

Though she seems like a gentle and serene woman, she has a lust for battle and enjoys the sounds of her enemies being cut down. She was a real beauty in her youth. She is the best listener in the army.

Personal Skill: Gratitude (When a unit uses a healing staff on the user, that unit has their HP recovered by half the same amount)

Sub Profile: A fox spirit of the Hoshido. Head of his village. He works everyday to repay a debt, and loves beautiful things as well as himself.

Museum Profile (JP): A Youko of Hoshido. Chief of his tribe. Whether or not people are good or bad, he will definitely return a favor if they are kind to him. He loves beautiful things and himself, he dedicates his free time to grooming himself. The one with the best posture in the army.
