Fire Emblem Fates: 4Koma & Character Book Translations

My copy of Fire Emblem Fates: 4Koma & Character Book (ファイアーエムブレムif 4コマ・キャラクターガイドブック) finally came in.

Like last time with Fire Emblem Awakening: 4Koma Kings, I scanned, cleaned, translated, and uploaded them myself (with a few cleaning exceptions, credited on their respective pages). Each page has its own post, but this is the compilation post for all pages in one neat place.

This book contains full body artworks of every playable character in FE14 (if/Fates) as well as two four panel comics that feature each character on every page.

Please support the authors by buying a physical copy yourself! It makes for a fine addition to any Fire Emblem or manga collection, and does not cost much either!

I will not offer the raw scans on this site, but feel free to ask for them in email if interested!

If you want to download all the pages in bulk, you can do so from here. The password is: kantopia

  2. I understand that this article is quite old, but hopefully you receive this. Basically, how do you go about ordering from ? I would love to have the Fire Emblem 4Koma books but they are only available from the Japanese Amazon store (at least that’s the only place I can find them). Could you tell me how to get them from Amazon Japan in countries outside of Japan, preferably in the UK? Thank you very much. 🙂

    • It’s rather straightforward, much like normal Amazon. First, find the language option and turn it to English (it should be on the top right of the page). Now it works just like regular amazon!

Simply go, add what you want to the cart, and at check out, enter your international address, and select “Global Shipping” (it should automatically switch to this when you enter an address outside of Japan).

It will then ask if you want to pay in your own currency or yen, it is up to you whichever you do.

That’s all there is to it. Let me know if there are any issues. : )

  7. Not sure if it’s my computer or not but the images for Izana and Flora don’t appear to be fully displayed. Is there a way to solve this?

    • WordPress updated with a new image edit format, I address it at the top of the post. Try clicking on the two images to see the full size pictures, those should be whole. : )

  9. Male Kamui/Corrin’s face in the 1st 4Koma is essentially our reaction to having to choose a side. Also, Macbeth, the cake is a-OH GOD I’M DEAD- (The joke is about the play Macbeth’s “curse”) Otherwise, Awesome translation Kantopia! (Well, at least I’m not actually dead.)

  10. I commented on the forum post as well, but just in case you didn’t see.
I’m a bit confused, are the names here the translated ones, or the original ones?

    • I saw it just now and replied there, but will reply here too : )

The names are the translated ones that I used in the Character Data page. However, the comic also romanized them differently than the text dump, such as referring to “Syalla” (as the game does) as “Shara.”

But yes, I meant to say it is not the officially localized names (like Corrin for Kamui). : ) Hope that helps!

        • I’m still cleaning up pages from later on so don’t have all the raws in one place yet. Do you want a sampler page though of a particular character? And where should I send it?

          • Hmm, oh right, dem emails
I’ll pm you my email on SF I guess.
The content page will suffice really, I just wanted to see what’s actually going on on that page
