FE 25th Anniversary Comiket Staff Book – Page 37 Translation

Today’s translation comes from the Fire Emblem 25th Anniversary Comiket Staff Book. It was a small book that featured notes and artworks from the game developers. I do not own this book, so all credit for scanning goes to an imgur gallery kindly uploaded by kingddd.

I am not translating these in any order, and simply by interest/request. I may get through the whole book eventually, but we will see!

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Design Book Product Info Translated

Amazon.co.jp put up some more information about a design document book for Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (FE9) (蒼炎の軌跡). It will release July 29th for the price of 3,456 Yen (~33 USD). Import costs usually add another ~10 USD.

Also the title has changed slightly, now:

“Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Design Documents. Tellius Recollection (1)”

I may refer to it as “Tellius Recollecton” from now on, but we’ll see. (1) likely means that Radiant Dawn will be (2).

There is no cover art yet, but there is a new description!

FE Fates Localization: Nyx Support Comparison (Reblog)

 

This is another post in my ongoing Fire Emblem Fates localization comparison posts! I discuss anything from major to minor changes here.

Today, however, I did not do the comparison, rather, I came across an intriguing article that discusses Nyx’s supports between Japanese and English, and how it changes her portrayal. Namely, how she seems more concerned about the body she is stuck in (English) versus the guilt she feels due to the mass-murder she committed (Japanese) as a side effect of her portrayal.

I already looked at some changes with Nyx, such as her death quote. So it’s interesting seeing some more in her supports.
