Rhythm Heaven Megamix (Rhythm Heaven The Best Plus in Japan) was released a month ago in North America and will be coming to Europe later on.

The game devs had made fun comics relating to the game last June which sourcegaming had translated and I typeset in a collaboration There had been more comics released since then, but none of them were translated (as far as I saw).

I’ll try to translate at least one part a day (though there may be some gaps for Fire Emblem content, especially with the upcoming Tellius Recollection book!). A compilation post will come soon!

25th Anniversary Book: Pg. 81 Chrom Design Tidbit Translation

From the Making of Fire Emblem: 25 Years of Development Secrets book comes a small snippet on page 81 regarding how Chrom’s design was meant to resemble Ike’s (with a bit of Marth).

• As one who may be aware of Japanese culture can imagine, the character in question is referred to as “aniki” (あにき), a term used for “big brother” in the gangster sense. In this case, likely yakuza, judging by the character’s demeanor and hairstyle. I translated it as “thug” here as a more general term.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix (Rhythm Heaven The Best Plus in Japan) was released a month ago in North America and will be coming to Europe later on.

I decided I’ll take a look at translating the rest myself as a new mini-project (there are 39 of them, SG did the first 3). I may eventually go back and update the first 3 with the official localized names too, as those had come out before this game was even announced for the West.

There are more Rhythm Heaven comics I found on older games too that I hope to tackle after these ones.

Today’s translation comes from the Fire Emblem 25th Anniversary Comiket Staff Book. It was a small book that featured notes and artworks from the game developers. I do not own this book, so all credit for the raw scans goes to an imgur gallery kindly uploaded by kingddd.

I am not translating these in any order, and simply by interest/request. I may get through the whole book eventually, but we will see!

By the way, anyone getting errors (specifically: getting stuck at the loading screen and then it crashing and sending you back to the main menu after you say “okay” to “mind your surroundings”) with Pokemon Go? I wanted to try it out, but my new Android is being pretty stubborn about it… xD

FE Fates: Subaki x Hana Fan Comic Translation (Request)

Today I translated a short (4 page) fan comic featuring Subaki, Hana, and Sakura from Fire Emblem Fates.

This size of request is fairly simple to handle. I asked the original artist (sayokariko, also on twitter) for permission too, to which she gave me the go-ahead so long as she is credited!

So please keep in mind I did not draw these. I simply translated them.

Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors Fan Yonkoma Translation (3)

While browsing through my to-do folder, I found some silly Zero Escape/999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors related fan comics I meant to translate. With the third and final installment Zero Time Dilemma having been released recently, I figured I should translate a few of them now!

 I did not draw these! I simply cleaned them up and translated them for people who were curious to read them!

Below is just my translation. The source link can be found below. There are a few other 999/Zero Escape comics by this artist, so I will translate a few of those too!
