FE PoR: Ilyana, Stefan, & Calill Concept Art (160-161) Translations

This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 1).

This post is of page 160-161, which feature Ilyana, Stefan, and Calill concept artworks with some commentary. The commentary is translated both on the page and here on this post.

You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!

As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…

Please donate! It helps fund future projects!

Translated text:

[73] Ilyana’s concept art. The faint pastel colors on her outfit are charming. We designed her outer appearance to be at odds with her enormous appetite in order to surprise players –and can safely say it was a great success. [74] Concept art of a Sage in Ilyana’s colors. Some of these hues do not appear in the actual game. [75] Initial concept art of Stefan. His hair was originally blue, but in order to differentiate him from others like Lucia and Geoffrey, we changed his hair color to green. Like Lucia, his clothing is also meant to resemble a more oriental style. [76] Three views of Calill. Her expressions are much younger and cuter looking than in the actual game. The purple and shocking pink colors on her flashy dress are unique to her, as they express her love for all things “urban.”

  • It was really hard to read the other notes around the knife in the book (even with a magnifying glass…) there were very few notes though, so I decided to omit those that could not be read.
