FE PoR: Oscar Character Profile (P. 48) Translation

This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 1).

This post is a character profile of Oscar (page 48).

You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!

Original scans/Japanese are not posted, but are available by request.

As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…

Please donate! It helps fund future projects!

A knight who works for the Greil Mercenaries. He is Boyd and Rolf’s older half-brother who shares a different mother. He is calm, gentle, and speaks in a rational manner. He is also recognized as the most skillful cook of the group, which results in scenes where he is more like a mother than a brother. He once served in the Crimean Royal Knights alongside Kieran.

He calls the mercenaries his “family,” and continues to serve Ike with the same outlook even after Ike becomes chief of the group in Greil’s place.

The root of Oscar’s motivations stem from his strong desire to help his countrymen who are in need of saving that the higher-ups do not care to save.
