This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 1).
This post is a character profile of Rajaion (page 82).
You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!
Original scans/Japanese are not posted, but are available by request.
As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…

Class: Black Dragon
Apparent Age (Designed): 23*
Prince of Goldoa, Dheginsea’s eldest son, and fiancé to Nasir’s granddaughter: Ena.
Despite being the most powerful dragon after his father (the king) of the dragon-tribe, he fell into Ashnard’s trap and was captured. He lost all sense of his self and became a mere mount for him.
After Ashnard’s defeat, he was able to regain his sense of self thanks to Reyson’s galdr. However, being unable to recover much beyond that, he passed away in his lover Ena’s arms. His corpse was sent back to Goldoa to honor his final wish for resting in peace in his home country.
*Likely an error on the book’s part, or he had originally intended to be beorc for whatever reason. It would be strange however if his original profile had him as beorc if he was always intended to be a dragon. Perhaps his character was meant to be someone else and assigned such? We can only speculate.
Oddly, his profile was very unpolished in this book. Even if you do not speak Japanese, look at the passage (direct transcript from the book) below:
I highlighted the problematic parts. The red is a repeated line, the blue is where one cuts off and was meant to continue into the other. The green says the exact same thing in two different ways. It seems there was some sort of mess up on the editing side of this book that made the profile look a lot longer than it actually was…
