FE PoR: Bertram Character Profile (P. 100) Translation

This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 1).

This post is a character profile of Bertram (P. 100)

You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!

Original scans/Japanese are not posted, but are available by request.

As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…

Please donate! It helps fund future projects!

One of the “Four Riders” of Daein. He wields the cursed “Runesword,” and possess unspeakable power that allows him to conquer the battlefield.
He is completely covered in dark grey armor and cape, with nothing but the lower half of his face visible underneath his helmet.
He speaks very little, only as much that is necessary. What he is thinking, or if he is even alive is all a mystery.
He ambushed the Liberation Army at Fort Pinell as they approached the Crimean capital, exhibiting a different sort of might and aura than the brave soldiers around him. When Ike confronted him, he was convinced that Betram was totally insane.
