This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 2).
This post features Pelleas’s character profile. He was the second most wanted by readers of this project, so here he is first. His concept art will hopefully be up soon.
You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!
As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…
Please consider donating! It helps fund future projects!

The orphaned son of Daein’s former king Ashnard. He is Almedha’s “son” who bears a mark on his forehead.
Though Ashnard was a strict dictator, he managed to unify the country under his rule. Pelleas, on the other hand, is the polar opposite in his personality. He is gentle and quite indecisive on many matters. Despite working under Tauroneo, there are soldiers who worked as militiamen during the late king Ashnard’s rule who do not think much of Pelleas. Perhaps they served simply to see a formal monarch in place.
When his group first merged with Micaiah’s “Dawn Brigade,” his weak tendency to be pushed around by the consistently stubborn and questionable Izuka was obvious. But, Micaiah and her firm resolve and compassion for her fellow countrymen left a deep impression on Pelleas. He soon ordered Izuka to end his inhumane laguz experimentation and steadily grew to become a better leader. When the army was poised to retake the Daein capital of Nevassa, the speech Pelleas gave successfully won over the hearts of veterans who had little faith in him, unifying and strengthening the army to eventually win the decisive battle.
