This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 2).

This post features Nailah. Please read some notes regarding the translation below the image!

You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!

As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…

Please consider donating! It helps fund future projects!

The Wolf Queen of an elusive kingdom within the desert: Hatari.
One day, her beloved Rafiel heard a voice calling out to him. Following his guidance, they embarked on a long and dangerous journey across the Desert of Death. It was when they reached some ruins that they met Micaiah and her group. This was Nailah (and anyone of Hatari’s) first chance meeting with someone beyond the desert, confirming Rafiel’s talk about the existence of an “outside world.”
She is a brave woman who is extremely decisive, powerful among the laguz, and flexible enough to adapt to the ever changing situations she faces. She has a tendency to be on the more belligerent side when compared to other royalty.
She formed a bond with Rafiel after she found him collapsed in the desert 23 years ago. They made intersecting vows and have been together ever since. Her right eye is concealed by an eye patch as it contains a dreadful power known as the “Evil Eye.” The Evil Eye is a fearful ability that completely transforms those who gaze upon it into stone. It is unknown whether the power was hereditary or unique to just Nailah, but it certainly adds to her already overwhelming presence as a Queen.
