FE RD: Mia Character Profile (P. 97) Translation

This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 2).

This post features Mia (as she appears in Radiant Dawn). Her Path of Radiance profile can be seen here.

You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!

As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…

Species: Beorc
Class: Swordmaster > Trueblade
Affinity: Fire
Origin: Begnion
Approx. Age: 20

A swordmaster who belongs to the Greil Mercenaries.
She enjoys polishing her skill with the blade to the fullest, and has no patience for those who discriminate against her for being a girl.  She trains rigorously every day to prove wrong those who say a girl lacks the physical strength or stamina to wield a sword. She fights for neither country nor ideology, but rather as a way to quickly improve her skills, and so she remained with the Greil Mercenaries even after they finished fighting on Crimea’s behalf. When she spots someone she deems skillful, she says her favorite phrase: “I want to duel them!” But if she (somehow) senses even the slightest hint of discrimination, she will suddenly mercilessly attack them with her sword.
She calls Ike “boss” and spends a lot of her free time challenging him to more duels with actual weapons than any other subordinate of his does. Despite that, she has still not won a single match.
With that sort of life, Mia is bound to end up with plenty of wounds –which is where Rhys comes in to heal her injuries. Mia is the sort who does not learn her lesson despite the repeated injuries, which causes Rhys to worry about her constantly.
