This post is my final planned post for translations of the Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 1).
It is simply a note from the Tellius Recollection staff before the table of contents. I felt it fitting for a final post. With this, Volume 1 and all relevant pages to translate have been completed. I will still take requests for untranslated pages, but there are few that would be of interest.
I isolated the artwork as well that the pages hold below.
You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!
As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…
Please consider donating! It helps fund future projects!
This book is a compilation of design documents for Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, which released April 20th, 2005 for the Nintendo Gamecube. The central focus is on the characters and the concept art surrounding them, but there are also materials on the history of Tellius, background images, and covert art illustrations. It is filled to the brim with all sorts of information that is being released to the public for the first time. Also, things like a story summary, list of bosses, and transcripts of support conversations are also compiled in this book.
We named it “Tellius Recollection” in hopes of conveying a specific feeling. It is meant to be like looking back on memories of Ike and his war and passing it down to a new generation. There is also a sequel to this book just as there is a sequel to the game, featuring design documents for Radiant Dawn. For that reason, the series is split into two volumes, one for each game. There are events that happen throughout both games that reveal facts about some characters, so we try to isolate it to the games’ specific contexts (so the true identity of the Prime Minister, or of one of the mages, etc). You can expect answers for those and other story-related mysteries in the second volume.
We wish to thank both old and new fans of the Fire Emblem series with helping in making this book a reality, even this far on from 2005. We are also sincerely grateful for the officials in charge of the 10-year-old documents for being so cooperative with us. We express our deepest thanks to all of you.

And that’s that! My full focus will then be given to FE10. Thank you all for reading my FE9 posts, I hope you learned something fun, or new!
I will create and release an imgur gallery featuring all translations to the public soon, as well as a bulk download. I learned a lot during this project, so please expect Volume 2 to be much higher in quality too.
