This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 2).
This post features all of Rolf and Mia’s concept artwork in Radiant Dawn.
You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!
As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…
Please consider donating! It helps fund future projects!
Enjoy!

Translated text:
[1] Three views of Rolf as a “Sniper.” Having reached puberty, everything seems complicated for him. [2] A design sketch of the “Sniper” look. His hair is longer here and he has a more “childish” demeanor. [3] Here is a rejected design that featured warmer colors and shades. You can see the differences with the final version quite easily. [4] Three views as a “Marksman.” He wears similar accessories to Shinon, and is designed to strengthen the look of the left half of his body. [5] Three views of Mia as a “Swordmaster.” She retains her lively orange color from before, but now has sleeves that go well with her clothes for a more “exotic” look. [6] Initial art of her “Trueblade” appearance. The colors of her clothes’ hems and boots are quite different. [7] Three views of Mia as a “Trueblade.” She gains a long coat with standing collars that flutters beautifully on the battlefield. It is likely she does it to purposefully stand out in order to “battle tough opponents.”
