FE RD: Laura Character Profile (P. 47) Translation

This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 2).

This post features the new character Laura.

You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!

As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…

Species:     Beorc
Class:       Priest > Bishop > Saint
Affinity:    Wind
Origin:      Daein
Approx. Age: 17

A Priest from Daein.
She met Micaiah while attempting to retrieve medicine for her teacher (the abbot) which was taken by the Begnion Occupational Army. She got captured and imprisoned at Gribe prison, but with Sothe’s help, she and Micaiah managed to escape. She then became a member of the “Dawn Brigade” and traveled with them.
Aran, a childhood friend of Laura’s who joined the Begnion Occupational Army, decided to cut ties with them after being persuaded by her. Her personality is as one expects of a longtime devotee to the goddess. Her resulting world views, however, can bewilder those around her, such as a scene where she refers to her and the rest of the group as “bandits.”
