Species:     Beorc
Class:       Swordmaster > Trueblade
Affinity:    Earth
Origin:      Daein
Approx. Age: 25

A Swordmaster from Daein. He is a veteran warrior from the Mad King’s War who fought alongside the Greil Mercenaries.
After that war, he lent his sword in service of Prince Pelleas in order to restore Daein alongside General Tauroneo. However, as the situation in Daein continued to change, he would be faced with making a grave decision between loyalty to his country versus saving the Laguz— his entire reason for fighting in the first place.
A major reason for his attachment to the Laguz is that his now-deceased love from long ago was one of them. He had declared no other woman could take her place in his heart. Despite that, Brom, a militiaman who worked with the Greil Mercenaries, had engaged Zihark to his daughter Meg without the former’s knowledge.  However, it seems Zihark shares a deeper emotional connection with Ilyana based on a conversation they have during the Laguz-Begnion War. In short, Zihark is a man of great conviction who does not believe in raising his blade against the laguz.
