Transcript: (Eng)

Species: Beorc
Class: Halberdier
Affinity: Thunder
Origin: Begnion
Apparent Age: —

A Halberdier who constantly hindered Micaiah’s efforts. He serves Duke Numida of the Begnion Senate.
He is shown to be cruel and perform a variety of inhumane acts in pursuit of the “Dawn Brigade,” such as harshly punishing villagers that sought to protect the rogue group.
On the other hand, when he was backed in a corner after being made a scapegoat by Duke Numida, he showed his incredible pride as a soldier of Begnion by staying to die a warrior’s death rather than taking the opportunity to make an easy escape. Though the common doctrine within the Begnion Army is for people of noble houses to rise to power, he seems to appoint people based on merit rather than their background. Jarord even honored Alder’s dying words, right after Alder was cut down defending Jarod from what would have been a fatal blow from the Black Knight. Since he had hired soldiers based on a merit system, they often felt his punishments were fair and kept him in high regard despite his cruelty.
