FE RD: Ranulf Character Profile (P. 102) Translation

This post features Ranulf, a returning character from Path of Radiance.

A warrior who serves King Caineghis of Gallia as a cat-type beast-tribe laguz. Both his eyes are of different colors. He is Kyza and Lyre’s superior officer.
Despite matching some of Gallia’s most elite officers in terms of true strength, he still has the appearance of a young man. He is both quick-witted and decisive. He is also bright, charming, and friendly, though is still careful not to let his guard down around others. It is for that reason Caineghis finds him to be a valuable asset.
It was three years ago during the Mad King’s War where he encountered the man he would come to place deep faith in – Ike. He found Ike’s frank, pure, and un-calculating personality to be quite likeable.
After the Goddess passes her judgement, Largo and Calill’s adopted daughter Amy was the only one left in Crimea’s capital, Melior. There is a scene where Ranulf displays a much gentler side to himself when comforting her.
His hard-working and more sensible side often leads to misfortune, however. From things like facing Zelgius in combat to trying to steer Skrimir the right way often leads to him gaining quite a few serious injuries. He also finds his two subordinates Kyza and Lyre to be a constant source of stress. Caught in a love triangle (that he does not want to be part of) between them, he suffers through the two fighting out of both love and hate.
