Class: Bird Tribe – Raven
Apparent Age: 25*
The black-winged Raven King of Kilvas, home of the bird-tribe raven laguz. He is childhood friends with Reyson and Leanne –the royal siblings of the former Kingdom of Serenes.
His scheming personality and looking out for his own country’s interests first and foremost remained unchanged since the Mad King’s War, and he continued to do things such as plunder Begnion’s merchant ships.
After the formation of the Laguz Alliance, Tibarn led his fellow hawks to attack Begnion supply convoys in order to disrupt the Begnion army from the sky. However, this turned out to be a diversion to keep the king away from his country of Phoenicis. The country was massacred in the king’s absence. This betrayal earned Naesala great resentment from Tibarn and all the other laguz. However, it turned out these actions were not Naesala’s true intentions, and that he was forced to do them under the “Blood Pact” he was unwillingly a part of. The first king of Kilvas had signed one with the Begnion Senate in order to restore his country, and it passed down through the generations. It means that any king of Kilvas must obey the Senate’s will for the sake of their own countrymen.
However, it came to his attention that the contract’s owner was not the Begnion Senate specifically, but rather the Empire of Begnion as a whole. This means by deciding to obey Empress Sanaki instead, he could free his countrymen from the cursed reigns of the Begnion Senate.
