FE SoV: Valentia Accordion Page 92: Gray and Tobin Profile Translations

Alm’s childhood friend who lives in Ram Village. He is close friends with Tobin, and has two sisters. Possibly due to being born in a merchant family, he has an easygoing personality and a way with words. He is also well informed on current affairs. Like Alm, he is one of the first to agree to joining the Deliverance. After joining, he met Clair, whom he fell love at first sight with. In spite of his repeated approaches, he was not liked by Clair due to his frivolous behavior, to the point where he got told he was “smarmy”. Despite this, his genuine feelings for Clair never changed. The distance between them gradually closed, and the two swore to spend their lives together after the war.

Gray as a child: Along with Alm and the other children, he was taught swordplay by Mycen. As he was good with words even as a child, he put up a front and attempted to persuade Slayde, who was a threatening the village, to leave.

Tobin

Alm’s childhood friend who lives in Ram Village. He’s a close friend of Gray and is the eldest son of a big family. He is honest and straightforward to a fault, and often gets taken advantage of as a result. Bluntly put, he’s a simpleton. Although he showed hesitation to join the Deliverance, he casted it aside for the sake of his family and a salary. Since he was young, he was often frustrated over being unable to best Alm at anything, and so begrudgingly acknowledged Alm’s power to lead. This time he decided to support Alm instead of competing with him. He holds some secret feelings towards Clair, whom he met in the Deliverance.

Tobin as a child: Along with Alm and the other children, he was taught swordplay by Mycen. Due to his bright and innocent personality, he invited Gray, Kliff and Faye along when he heard there were knights in the woods –hence getting them caught up in the incident with Slayde.
