Fire Emblem Fates: “Lost in Thoughts All Alone” English Lyrics

Today’s post are the lyrics for “Lost in Thoughts All Alone” (the theme song to Fire Emblem Fates) as they appear in the official translation. The lyrics are vastly different than the Japanese lyrics that I translated back in July, so it will be interesting to compare them later on!

It is notably missing the second verse of the song (which equates to Conquest/Nohr). As such, the song is incomplete, but will be updated to include the full song when it becomes available. I decided to make a compilation post for the (untranslated) character pages from Fire Emblem Fates: 4Koma & Character Book (ファイアーエムブレムif 4コマ・キャラクターガイドブック) for people who just wanted the art regardless of the translation.

I am steadily working on translating the entire book however, which can be found here. I cover a new profile and following comic (comics not posted here) each day.

Fire Emblem Fates: 4Koma & Character Book Translations

STATUS: COMPLETE

My copy of Fire Emblem Fates: 4Koma & Character Book (ファイアーエムブレムif 4コマ・キャラクターガイドブック) finally came in.

Like last time with Fire Emblem Awakening: 4Koma Kings, I scanned, cleaned, translated, and uploaded them myself (with a few cleaning exceptions, credited on their respective pages). Each page has its own post, but this is the compilation post for all pages in one neat place.

This book contains full body artworks of every playable character in FE14 (if/Fates) as well as two four panel comics that feature each character on every page.

FE14 – Paralogue 3: Together with the Songstress [Shigure] Story Summary

As part of a new translation mini-series, I’ll be summarizing the child paralogues in Fire Emblem: Fates as I go through Linkmastr’s video gallery of them (as they would take quite a while to get myself)

This is Paralogue 3, and focuses on Shigure. It is unlocked by S ranking Aqua.

Fire Emblem Fates: Azura’s Song “If- One’s Thoughts” FULL Song Translation

UPDATE 2: [Feb 9th] I updated the song to iron out some rough edges. I hope you like this version better! I will be uploading the localized lyrics later on and hopefully compare them too. The officially translated lyrics for the English version (“Lost in Thoughts All Alone”) can be found here. .Though, they are vastly different as it is a “localization” rather than a translation.

UPDATE: The officially localized title for this song is “Lost in Thoughts All Alone.” The preview lyrics (shown in the final Smash Bros announcement video on Dec. 15 2015) already shows significant differences between the songs, but I will wait for an official lyrics release or transcription before comparing them!

A user on serenesforest.net kindly pointed out that the official Japanese lyrics to the full song of “if~one’s thoughts~” had been uploaded.  So I translated them best I could.  The song is called if~hitori omou~ in Japanese.

The format is:  English. Kanji, and then Romaji.

Fire Emblem: IF Famitsu Scan Translations [ALL] [6/04/15]

I translated all four pages of the FE Famitsu Scans for 6/4/15. I put them on the pages too for your convenience. Thanks NintendoEverything for the scans.

NOTES:

-The subscript below Kazahana is referring to the skill being named “Tomboy.” I simply added that as that is what the word translates too, and didn’t want anyone to think it was a mistranslation.

UPDATE: “Nishika” was misspelled by accident, it is Nishiki. Sorry for the confusion! It’s been fixed.

UPDATE 2: I was told that a guy on reddit with a Lowen pic was lamenting the lack of translated weapon stuff! I love Lowen, so I decided to translate it just for them! xD Also, “Training Room” was misread (the kanji is similar), but it is actually “Forge.” It’s been corrected.

Fire Emblem: IF Dengeki Character Profiles [ALL] [5/21/15]

A reader kindly pointed me to FE: IF Dengeki scans from here. I translated the character profiles as the gameplay info is likely similar to the Famitsu ones, which I translated in full here.

I intend to translate the information on the TCG soon.

Notes:

-I made Character Page 1 by moving the Protagonist next to Aqua, they were originally on two separate pages.

-I referred to the Protagonist as a “he” but really can be either gender. I just used it as a neutral umbrella term!

-I erased the voice actor information. It made it look cleaner, as they are hard to read and can easily be mistaken.
