Notes:

  • The SFX I put in there are meant to sound like the little tune you hear when summoning. Try it! The original Japanese (tererete) is how it’s usually written, but a foreign audience would likely read “te” and “re” as “tee” and “ree” instead of “tay” and “ray.”
  • The final line is slightly changed here. Considering the location in the panel (and Sharena’s determined expression), the original may have been Sharena’s own thoughts on the matter, saying something akin to, “Well, there’s no need to change these thousand friends I have.” But the positioning also made it possible for Anna there to deliver the final punchline with an oblivious Sharena standing among her fellow Wrys. I opted for the ladder here, but will explain why it may differ between translations. : )

FE Heroes: “A Day in the Life of the Heroes” (Page 10) Translation

The official FE Heroes website has been publishing weekly 4koma comics. I hope to translate them as they come here!

Also it was pointed out to me these come out one day earlier on LINE. I had no idea! So I will hopefully start posting these every Tuesday rather than Wednesday. : )

Enjoy!

Page 8 (1/10) “There Truly is One Peaceful Future…!”

Translation note: “Here Lies Lord Chrom” was what I decided to do with the original which actually said something more along the lines of “Chrom In Critical Condition” (and/or dead). It was basically meant to indicate he was not as peaceful or safe as you see him in the ending there. I explain this simply because, if that didn’t look like a crypt where they would bury someone of his status, that would be why!

FE Awakening: The Most Unforgettable Birthday Translation [25th Anniversary Comiket Staff Book]

Today’s translation comes from the Fire Emblem 25th Anniversary Comiket Staff Book. It was a small book that featured notes and artworks from the game developers. I do not own this book, so all credit for the raw scans goes to an imgur gallery kindly uploaded by kingddd.

I am not translating these in any order, and simply by interest/request. I may get through the whole book eventually, but we will see! I’ve made a few other posts on it already (just search “comiket” in the top right search bar).

Nearly a year ago, a reader left a request to do pages 14 and 15 of the book, which feature a conversation from the Awakening cast (specifically, Severa, Lucina, Nah, and Kjelle). I thought it may be translated already, but upon searching I didn’t come across anyone who did…

It took awhile to translate since it’s essentially a bonus conversation as if it was in the game or the drama CD. I don’t think it’s been translated yet, so here it is. Sorry it took so long!

Fire Emblem: Famitsu FE Series Reader Poll Translated (June 2015)

fire-emblem-lords

Last year (2015), Famitsu conducted a poll from June 11th through the 15th. In celebration of the 25th Anniversary for Fire Emblem, they polled readers on various questions about the series as a whole.

I translated the first two pages earlier on this post here. They are specifically about characters. These last two pages deal with favorite game, class, weapon, etc. A lot of fun insight from fans back in June 2015.

The raw scans are available upon request. I hope to apply these translations onto the page eventually (which is when I will provide them too)!

Note that this was conducted before Famitsu’s Fire Emblem Fates poll, which can be viewed here.

I purchased the Famitsu volume that included this poll with money received from your kind donations. : ) This is all done on my free time, and takes awhile. It can be a lot of work, but I do hope you enjoy! I am unemployed… so please consider donating by clicking on the “donate” button found on the right side of the page!

Fire Emblem: Famitsu Overall Favorite Character Poll Translated (June 2015)

fire-emblem-lords

Last year (2015), Famitsu conducted a poll from June 11th through the 15th. In celebration of the 25th Anniversary for Fire Emblem, they polled readers on various questions about the series as a whole.

UPDATE: Part 2 (page 3 and 4) are up! They deal with fans’ favorite games, class, etc. See it here!

There are four pages of results, two of which I translate today. The other two will be up later! Note for these translations I only translated the results and player opinions, as the rest was general information about the characters/games which fans would already know. All raw pages will be put up after I finish the last two pages! But some lower res scans of the first two pages can be found here and here.

This was conducted before their Fire Emblem Fates poll, which can be viewed here. I do not think Fates characters were included in this poll, as the game was near release.

I purchased the Famitsu volume that included this poll with money received from your kind donations. : ) This is all done on my free time, and takes awhile. It can be a lot of work, but I do hope you enjoy! I am unemployed… so please consider donating by clicking on the “donate” button found on the right side of the page!
