SSB4 – Why Corrin over Aqua [via SourceGaming]

Today I’m posting (another) awareness post! SourceGaming wrote a nice article as to why Corrin (Kamui) may have made it into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS over Azura (Aqua), the heroine of the game.

Some brief background, points, and counter-points are included among other things. A nice read, so:

Please read the full thing here!

Note: This does not necessarily represent my views on the matter. : )

SSB4 – A Case for Corrin [via SourceGaming]

Today I’m just posting an awareness post! A guest on SourceGaming wrote a partially opinion partially factual piece regarding the case for why Corrin (Kamui) made it into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS.

Please read the full thing here!

Note: This does not necessarily represent my, or SourceGaming’s, view on the matter. : ) Personally, I am happy for whoever wanted him in, and am sorry for those who did not!

SSB4: Famitsu Character Unlock Methods Scan (10/8)

Today’s Famitsu didn’t have much, but this was the most useful page. While most information is known by now, it is good to see the exact requirements listed here rather than guessing:

This isn’t everyone, but it is all Famitsu has listed for now. Maybe the rest will be next week.

This is the only part of the page I translated, so I cropped it. The original is below my edit/translation as usual.

SSB4: Palutena Famitsu Scan Translation (1) (8/6)

Famitsu released some information on Palutena and Pit today (August 6th). This is the first of four pages total! These scans are courtesy of Kogath (of the monster hunter wiki!)

Second page is here! (Finshes Palutena)

Third page is here! (Features Pit)

Final page here (About Single Player)

Latest Famitsu scans are always posted here and on my twitter first! I get them done within about 90 min per page from when I receive the page for a Smash Bros article.

As usual, first is my translation/edit of the page, and the original scan right after it.

Nintendoeverything posted another scan from Famitsu today, but I acquired today’s scan from a very kind user Kogath (of the Monster Hunter Wikia). Here it is translated and edited!

Super Smash Bros. Famitsu Scans (All)

This is a quick post to put all four of the Robin/Lucina/Captain Falcon reveal Famitsu Scans in one convenient place. The original scans are not shown in this post. To see those please go to each individual page on this website!

I translated and digitally edited them myself. Some were poor quality and hard to read some kanji, but it mostly makes sense. I hope you find some use for them!

The original scans were provided by Nintendoeverything.com.

Super Smash Bros. Famitsu Scan Translation (4/4)

Nintendoeverything.com provided some Super Smash Bros. scans for Wii U and 3DS featuring the newly announced Fire Emblem characters and the return of Captain Falcon. I translated this one a little slower as I assumed it was lower priority for others.

Robin’s first page can be found here, and second page here.

Lucina’s page can be found here.

The first is my edit (full view for best readability), and second is the original Japanese page.

Super Smash Bros. Famitsu Scan Translation (1/4)

Nintendoeverything.com provided some Super Smash Bros. scans for Wii U and 3DS featuring the newly announced Fire Emblem characters. I decided to translate and edit the pictures here. I split them into four pages. While Avatar/MyUnit/Rufure/Robin was first page number wise, I decided to do Lucina first.

UPDATE: Robin’s first page can be found here!

Robin’s second page can be found here!

It was really hard to read some kanji due to poor image quality of scan (when zoomed), so there may be some mistakes as I had to work around them with context.*
