This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 1).
This post is a character profile of Mist (page 45).
You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!
Original scans/Japanese are not posted, but are available by request.
As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…
Please donate! It helps fund future projects!

The hardworking girl who does miscellaneous chores for the Greil Mercenaries. She is the daughter of Greil, and Ike’s younger sister. Her mother, Elena, died when she was young, but Mist still remembers and often hums the lullaby her mother used to sing to her when younger.
She is quite an obliging girl who has a cheerful personality that speaks from the heart. She is always looking after her fellow mercenaries who fight on the field and does her best to help out in any way she can. After the death of her father, Mist chose to take up a staff and fight alongside Ike on the battlefield. Though she inherited a gentle face and demeanor from her mother, hidden behind that is a fiery determination that burns once pressed to decide on something important. She likely inherited this from her father.
The bronze medallion she keeps close to her heart as a keepsake from her father Greil is in fact the same item that the rest of the world refers to as the “Medallion of Blue Flames.” Like her elder brother Ike, destiny still has more in store for her, as it guides them toward the eventual battle between the Goddesses of Order and Chaos.*
*Notes:
- The goddesses of 正 and 負, which can also be good and evil, right and wrong, positive and negative, etc. They are opposites. I went with what the localization wrote in Radiant Dawn.
