FE RD: Leonardo Character Profile (P. 45) Translation

A young Archer who works with the band of chivalrous thieves known as the “Dawn Brigade.” He was born to a noble house in Daein’s countryside, ruin came to his house when his father and brother perished three years prior during the Mad King’s War. He has been without family ever since (his mother had died when he was just a child).
When Daein lost the war, he becae a target to hunters from the Begnion Occupying Army as he was enrolled in a military academy at the time. He and his classmates had fled together, but they had all been tracked down until Leonardo was the only one left. He was cornered, but unexpectedly saved by a young swordsman named Edward. From then on the two traveled together and ended up joining the “Dawn Brigade.” Seeing his circumstances, it is no wonder he has such strong bonds with the brigade to the point it is like family to him.
He keeps a cool-head and has a habit of being a lceturer. He is pragmatic and capable of making rational decisions under pressure. He can often be seen scolding the more energetic Edward for one thing or another. Sometimes he gets seized by bouts of pessimism, which is where Nolan (their senior) steps in to help by giving sage advice: “You are still young. Don’t let go of your hopes and dreams.”
As the Laguz-Begnion War approached its climax, he and some others spent their earnings on a Tempest Blade. He presented it as a gift to his reckless best friend who is like a brother to him: Edward.
