FE PoR: Kieran Character Profile (P. 65) Translation

This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 1).

This post is a character profile of Kieran (page 65) that was done/prioritized by request!

You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!

Original scans/Japanese are not posted, but are available by request.

As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…

Please donate! It helps fund future projects!

(use the button on the top right of the page if the above link doesn’t work or if you lack a PayPal account!)

Enjoy!

A member of the Crimean Royal Knights who serves as captain of the fifth platoon. He was captured by Daein and held prisoner inside the castle-turned-POW-camp: Canteus.

He is rather frank and hot-blooded, and his personality can often seem brash and fierce like an untamed bull. However, at his core he is kind, earnest, and extremely patriotic knight. From a conversation with Marcia, his kind side shows in the way he carefully cares for his important war horse (who is also his brother-in-arms). He has a one-sided rivalry with the former Crimean Royal Knight Oscar which gets him fired up quite often, and is rather trivial every time.

In the end, he and Oscar realize they want to save innocent civilians. Though they belong to different groups, they agree that they have the exact same motivations.
