FE RD: Sothe & Edward Concept Art (142-143) Translation

This post is part of my ongoing translations of the Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Memorial Book: Tellius Recollection (Vol 2).

This post features some concept work of Sothe and Edward. Sothe has a page before this that will be uploaded later, and Edward bleeds into Leonardo’s page, which too will be up later.

You can find every translation I’ve done on this book so far on the compilation post here!

As you can imagine, the process of doing all this (scanning, editing, translating, etc) takes a lot of time, and I am unemployed…so if you like what I did, then…

Please consider donating! It helps fund future projects!

142-143

Translated text:

[1] Three views of Sothe as a “whisper.” A sleeveless version is emphasized here. [2] Design sketches of each of Sothe’s classes. His physique around the waist and his shoulder width have both increased since the previous game. [3] Three views of Edward as a myrmidon. Accessories were to be kept at a minimum as he needed to be able to move easily. He ties a belt around his right hand. [4] An initial design of his myrmidon look. He lacks belts on the shoulders, a much cleaner design than the final product. Two views as a swordmaster. He puts on a coat and looks more like a proper soldier. He wears his sleeves in a stylishly rolled-back fashion.
